How much data does watching a show use?

On Android mobile devices the file size of a 30 minute recording is 40 megabytes. On iPhone and iPod devices the file size of a 30 minute recording is 80 megabytes. On Nokia devices the file size of a 30 minute recording is 23 megabytes. On PC and Mac the file size of a 30 minute recording is 90 megabytes.

Why wont my recording play back?

There are two main reasons why recordings wont play back. Sometimes your ISP or 3G provider bandwidth may be insufficient to play a recording causing your recording to freeze or stop. Secondly a recording error may occur from time to time due to atmospheric or other conditions not directly related to the myTVR platform.

How come Record and Play Now takes a while to start playback?

Record and Play Now streams a buffer of media to your iPhone or iPod. Users may experience a slight delay when playing back Record and Play Now recordings whilst this buffer is sent to your device. For best experiences, ensure that your iPhone or iPod has a decent internet connection before streaming.

Does myTVR offer closed captions?

myTVR does not currently offer closed captioning.
