Can I record and play back a "Free to air" TV program?

Yes, based on the recording space you have chosen in your plan.

What is 'Record and Play Now'?

Record and Play Now is a myTVR beta feature which allows you to schedule a recording of a TV show that is currently playing. As soon the TV show starts recording you are able to play the stream immediately. This allows users to record and play back small chunks of TV on the go.

Record and Play Now recordings are stored within your myTVR storage space along with your full length Recordings allowing them to be watched now or later.

We are working on enabling more channels for Record and Play Now.

Will 'Record and Play Now' use up my storage space?

All 'Record and Play Now' recordings are treated like normal recordings are are stored within your storage space.

Can I schedule and record PayTV?

Not currently.

Can I delete programs to free up disk space?

Yes you can delete programs you have recorded at any time.

Can I record more than one channel at a time?

Yes if you have the recording space you can record all stations simultaneously.

What is overrecord?

Overrecord is a feature that is activated by default with the Silver and Gold plans adding a 15 minute recording block to the end of every show you have chosen to record. The overrecord time is not included within your plans quota providing 15 minutes extended recording time to ensure you do not miss the final minutes of your show should the TV stations run overtime. The over record feature is playable only when the schedule TV program has completed recording. It is not available for TV programs which are watched while they are being recorded.

Why didnt my recording record?

A recording error may occur from time to time due to atmospheric or other conditions not directly related to the myTVR platform.
