All doctors are busy, but Paul Dangerfield is busier than most. He's a GP in a rural market town, he's a police surgeon called in to help investigate every kind of crime. Dangerfield is called in by Detective Inspector Ken Jackson to tackle a variety of assignments but soon finds that straddling the worlds of medicine and crime-fighting brings him into sharp collision with fellow professionals on both sides of the divide.
